Intellectual purity requires "childlike" honesty.. Think about your latest outrage at hypocrisy -- what? how dare you hold others to what you don't yourself? It's not childlike.

Children are not forgiving. They are not kindly.

Jesus wants us to know the Father by believing in the Son. Of course โ€“ like the child of a father.

The faith of a child in the Father may be like that of an idealized child -- pure, unquestioning love for one's protector, but it is not in replacement of the intellect.

I feel so much better now about Matthew 11. Indeed, I believe -- think? -- that in writing his post I have learned much while bolstering my faith. I pray so.
